Otoque is part of the island’s district that make up the islands of Taboga, located in the tropical seas south of Panama City and from where you will begin your trip. You can reach Otoque on a short speedboat trip, crossing the Las Americas Port and in approximately one hour reach the small and beautiful island; also on road to Punta Chame and rent a boat to the Majagual port and in 20 minutes you will reach the island of Otoque. |

Main species:
There are a variety of incredible fish. This island is characterized for its enormous groupers of all types and red snappers. You can also catch good size swordfish and dorados and sporatically some tuna.
Fishing Techniques:
The major activity will be held in anchor so we recommend using live bates.
Facilities:
Rent speedboats from the capital to the island upon arrival. You can lodge in the hotels of Taboga or by road to Punta Chame and there lodge in the Gorgona or Coronado beaches.
Season:
We recommend winter, from April to November due to less wind from the north. |
