Schedule one Saturday per month and departing from Flamenco Islands Marina you will enjoy a day cruise through the Panama Canal from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. This tour takes you through all 3 sets of Locks in the Panama Canal.
The vessel will be boarded by a Panama Canal Commission Pilot, who will guide you through your transit. You will most likely transit with another vessel, known as “Special Lockage”, something that the Panama Canal Authorities do to conserve the watershed and cut down on extra man hours.
You will underride the Las Americas Bridge, traverse Miraflores Lake, Pedro Miguel Locks and also part of the Canal that is known as Gailard Cut (the narrowest part of the Canal and the most difficult part of the excavation during the construction).
Includes:
Transfer from your hotel to pier, light breakfast, lunch and soft drinks on board the vessel, bilingual guide.
What to take:
Comfortable clothes and shoes or sneakers. Don’t forget your camera.
Important Note:
Panama Canal Ocean to Ocean Transit is available only once a month.
