Pamana City offers you a chance of visiting the canal and experiencing of two oceans in only one day.
Board the vessel going either northbound (towards the Caribbean) or southbound (towards the Pacific Ocean) and begin your journey to the one of 3 sets of Locks in the Panama Canal.
The vessel will be boarded by a Panama Canal Commission Pilot, who will guide you through your transit. You will most likely transit with another vessel, known as “Special Lockage”, something that the Panama Canal Authorities do, in order to conserve the watershed and cut down on extra man hours.
Depending on which route you are traveling you will traverse Miraflores Lake, Pedro Miguel Locks and also part of the Canal that is known as Gailard Cut (the narrowest part of the Canal and the most difficult part of the excavation during the construction).
Your journey on this historic canal will end either at the Gamboa Dredging Division or at Flamenco Island’s Marina in the Pacific Ocean.
Upon arriving in either place you will be transported by A/C Motor Coach to your original boarding point.
Includes:
Transfer from hotel to pier, lunch and soft drinks on board the vessel, bilingual guide.
What to take:
Comfortable clothes and shoes or sneakers. Don’t forget your camera.
