 Leave the hotel to the national airport where you will board a plane that will take you to Contadora island located in the Las Perlas archipelago towards the Pacific Ocean. Contadora island is found even further north of the archipelago and has its own runway. It was the location where in the past the pearls collected on the archipelago were counted for commercial means on route to Spain.
The tourism destination has 13 peaceful beaches for swimmers, diving, underwater fishing, water skiing among other water sports. In Cacique Beach, you can find the Villa Romantica Hostal and in Larga Beach you will find the Contadora Hotel Resort; Executie Beach is a beautiful spot to snack and las Suecas Beach is discreet and isolated in addition to being the only nudist beach in Panama. Other captivating resorts on the island are: Di Maggio, Roca, Camaron, Fea, Canoa, Lucas and other beaches. You can tour on board a yacht towards other islands of the archipelago.
From Contadora you can navigate on a speedboat and tour other islands of Las Perlas Archipelago. Contadora is an excellent option to spend a healthy and fun day and in the afternoon return to Panama City.
