 Las Silvas Afuera and Adentro Islands is located in the Gulf of Chiriquí. The province of Chiriquí is located in Panama´s western region towards the border with Costa Rica. Travel from the provincial capital to the Gulf of Chiriquí located in the Pacific coast. The Chiriqui region, offers you the country´s best natural attractions. It is a destination especially dedicated for ecotourism lovers as well as those that love adventure, fishing, diving, navigation over rapids on rivers and other options for you to enjoy.
On the Pacific coast there is Silva Afuera Island and Silva de Adentro Island, two good surfing spots which you can experiment. Silva de Afuera island is small 30 minutes on boat from Morro Negrito, closer to the continent than Montuosa Island. It has two breaks, one left and another right, the right is a large peak that breaks up in medium tide with good swirls, drops and without a wall; and the other point has a very good left that breaks over a rocky reef in medium tide.
The left has larger towards the right rides with a section in the middle which is very difficult to surround it and rocks in the inside are very complex and surfers must be careful. This spot grabs almost any swell, and can reach 4 feet or more. Silva de Adentro Island is another small isalnd closer to the continent than Silva de Afuera Island. This spot has a right that breaks over a rocky reef and can be reached with a good tide, it has a good ride with good swirls and very powerful.
