The Caribbean Sea offers one of the best landscapes and natural beauties in Panama in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago. On land or air you can move from the capital to these wonderful islands among them: Colón, Popa, Bastimentos, Cristóbal, Cayo de Agua and Cayo Carenero. In several points of this area you will find Bastimientos Marine National Park, a natural reserve of incredible richness is made up by coral reefs, huge extensions of mangroves, interesting hills, beautiful beaches and a refuge of abundant marine life.
Do not lose the chance of navigating in kayac, boat or caramaran by the surrounding areas of this wonderful archipelago. There are diverse destinations at short distance from Bocas del Toro, including Punta Hospital and Bastimentos Island which you can reach in about 30 to 40 minutes.
For those that do not have a special place to go, it is possible to navigate along the coasts between the islands bordering the mangrove that is found south of the Bastimentos or Colon islands. The kayacs are rented by the hour, or the day. The islands are a good option to enjoy the sun, sea and all of the bondness that nature created. A tour that can be combined visiting indigenous communities that live in the zone.
